Tips and Recommendations for Using Candledust UK Candles

Candledust UK candles are designed to inspire creativity and make candle styling effortless. Made from natural wax in powder form, Candledust UK allows you to create beautiful candles in just three simple steps.

1–2–3 Candle Magic:

Choose a non-flammable container with a minimum diameter of 8 cm (this prevents melted wax from sticking to the container). Pour Candledust UK into the container, insert the wick into the powder leaving about 0.5 cm exposed, light it, and enjoy the glow.

Please follow the candle-burning guidelines below to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience with your Candledust UK candle.

Candledust UK Candles Are Incredibly Easy

• Choose a suitable container

• Pour Candledust UK into the container

• Insert the wick, light it, and enjoy

The container shown in the image has a diameter of 13 cm and uses one wick, which helps keep the container clean. Containers smaller than 8 cm may collect melted wax and require cleaning afterward.

If you use a container wider than 8 cm, you can easily pour the powder out and reuse it whenever you like. For shallower containers, wicks can be cut in half.

One wick has a combustion diameter of 8 cm.

Adding Multiple Wicks

Wicks without sustainers are ideal for wider, fireproof containers such as vases, bowls, or dishes made of glass or metal. The container must be wider than 8 cm in diameter.

Pour Candledust UK into the container and place the wick so that approximately 0.5 cm remains above the surface. Leave at least 4 cm of free space around each wick, including about 0.5 cm at the bottom. This ensures the container stays clean and does not come into contact with melted wax.

Remember:

The combustion diameter of one wick is 8 cm

Wicks placed closer than 6 cm apart will generate excess heat

Excess heat may cause faster melting and cause the wicks to sink into the wax

Re-lighting Candledust UK

Before relighting, check that enough wick remains exposed. If so, light the candle as usual.

If the wick has burned down, gently crush the solidified wax back into powder or remove the hardened wax completely. Pour fresh Candledust UK over the area and insert a new wick. You may also add decorative elements such as dried flowers or stones—just ensure that:

Wicks are spaced 6–8 cm apart

Decorations are at least 4 cm away from the wick

Since one wick burns within an 8 cm diameter, proper spacing is essential. Light the candle and enjoy once again.

When used correctly, Candledust UK can be burned with little to no residue. Any unused candle jars or glasses can easily be refilled and reused with Candledust UK.

Candle Safety Instructions

Always burn candles on a heat-resistant surface and away from flammable objects. Be cautious when moving a lit candle, as the container may become hot. Keep burning candles out of reach of children and pets. Avoid burning candles in drafts, and never leave a burning candle unattended.
